Job Description:

As a CAD Designer at HapiHygi, you will be at the core of shaping a first-of-its-kind sanitation product. This is not a typical internship role and you will be expected to bring strong technical and creative skills, ownership of outcomes, and the ability to translate ideas into robust, functional, and elegant product designs.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive end-to-end product design, with a strong focus on system-level design, precision, and manufacturability
• Develop advanced CAD models and conduct simulations for stress, tolerance, and usability
• Create high-quality product animations and graphics for prototyping, visualization, and presentations
• Work with 3D printing, assembly, and testing to validate design concepts
• Collaborate closely with founders and engineers to refine and scale product designs

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor’s/Master’s in Product Design, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or related fields
• Strong proficiency in Autodesk Fusion, SolidWorks (or equivalent CAD tools)
• Experience in product simulations, rendering, and design validation
• Knowledge of 3D printing, prototyping, and assembly methods
• Skills in Photoshop, Illustrator, or animation tools (preferred)
• A high level of initiative, attention to detail, and passion for building products that matter
